"When it's over I want to say: All my life I was a bride married to amazement." - Mary Oliver
God, I love it. I came across this quote last night, and it deeply resonates with me — especially in the context of my relationship with music. If you have a moment, jump over to my post about Stars on 80 Minutes for Life. It's girlish, adjective-heavy and laden with too much backstory, but it's written with an earnest heart. Stars is my colossus.
He. Oh, darling.
he.

There's one thing I want to say, so I'll be brave.
You were what I wanted, I gave what I gave.
I'm not sorry I met you, I'm not sorry it's over.
I'm not sorry there's nothing to save.

Falling in love a little more each time.

Love your juxtaposition of light and dark in the 80MFL blog (okay, well maybe more twilight than dark) but I still dig it. And it sets me up to look at the stars. Great job.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your opening quote here!

Thanks guys. Matt, I got your other comment on lala and I don't think I am posting on my vacation, I am just way too behind on everything - moving forward, fist to the sky!
And it really is a good quote for a girl who's actually not really into quotes. Love it.

Umm, Liz? I hate to tell you. But you ARE posting. I admit, I'm assuming that you're still on vacation. Stop it. Enjoy. Enjoy as I enjoy your posts, your art finds, and your quotes. Dance, princess, to your muse. Dance like no one's looking (we're not, really!)
I am enjoying some "Say Hi" (found through you) right now, so say hi to your mom ;-) Let her know that her post was enjoyed, and brought a tear to my eye, too.

As expected, an amazing write-up on 80 Minutes about Stars. You are quite the wordsmith Liz.
