This wonderful illustration titled "Old Timey Biker Daredevil" is featured in my little flat's long hallway. I awoke sleep-deprived and in a terrible mood this morning, and I found myself staring at it as I lolled & waited for my tea to steep. I relate to the illustration, and it always has a happy effect on me. Sharks!
I think he's gonna make it.

I'm listening to this today:
Gold Guns Girls (Acoustic) - Metric | purchaseMetric's sexy, electropop album, Fantasies, is still one of my favorite releases of the year. Their new acoustic EP, Plug In Plug Out, will be available on Amazon.com on Tuesday, but you can already stream it on their website. Frankly, Emily Haines can pull of both extremes (I'm a fan of her beautifully somber solo album, Knives Don't Have Your Back), and it's interesting to hear a few Fantasies tracks in a quiet, more subdued state. I ♥ this little acoustic collection, too!
