The latest cover makes me think of a couple tunes from múm's fifth album, Sing Along to Songs You Don't Know. It was released last week in Europe, but we are still waiting on the official drop in the US. Ah, there's something absurd and lovely and whimsical about this band across the sea ... the world becomes a pretty illustration whenever I listen to them. Don't you want to see things in paints & pencil & inks like me? Have a listen ...

My stupid computer is not letting me listen to the song and now I want to break it. Just thought I'd share.

oh man oh man oh man!
I had no idea there was a new mum album coming out! This song different then their other stuff (clearer vocals, for one thing) one of the but you're right about the whimsy; there's something here that feels like magical realism to me.
Going to school in Indiana meant reading the New Yorker a month late, when the college library would recycle their old copy.
