Indeed, I have a new banner. There's been a flood. Bunnies know how to swim, right?.... cause I don't see a bunny anymore.
The Sea is a Good Place to Think of the Future - Los Campesinos! | websiteOne of my favorite bands, Los Campesinos!, has a new album coming out in early 2010. My, these youngsters are unbelievable—they've recorded three albums within a two year period! The main lyricist, Gareth, gave a very interesting interview to pitchy a few months ago, and he touches upon the meaning of their excellent (but unhappy) new single, "The Sea is a Good Place to Think of the Future." The future, yes sir. I spent a portion of yesterday morning sipping tea and puttering along Ocean Beach—my eyes turned toward the sea. Overall, 2009 has been a miraculously balanced, very happy year for me. I wonder what 2010 will bring ...
Oh, for a plot.
Steady on.
ps. Bon Iver didn't play a bevy of new songs last week. (update: In fact, Bon Iver will be taking a break after this tour). No matter, both concerts were wonderful. Justin Vernon has assembled a very good group of musicians, and Bon Iver very much sounds like a band now. I cried both nights, what can I say? "Re: Stacks," man—we adore, we love—brain and applauding bodies at once.

Hey. I just started reading your blog today. I happened to see your comment on indiemuse, and I'm glad I happened to because all of my music blogs seem to be lacking lately. And after reading all of your recent posts, it seems you have great music tastes which are pretty much aligned with mine. So, well, keep it up I guess!

& thx, fork/knife misters. Banner props means a lot, I've always liked your design aesthetic. xo.
