Rosemary no. 1 died last night.
I may pick up a Rosemary no. 2 this weekend, but if she ends up dying within six days like Rosemary no. 1, I am definitely giving up. My massive fish bowl might be re-purposed & re-imagined as a terrarium. A hat holder, maybe?
I will not be a poster girl for fishocide.

I used to have a salt water aquarium and spent hours trying to recreate a perfect environment for my brilliant looking captives (jeez, does that sound like donald trump and some trophy wife). They lacked warmth and weren't very cuddly (umm, am I carrying this trophy wife thing a little too far). But when the first one died, I was devastated. When the second one died I decided that I couldn't be that ichthio serial killer any more... I found the rest of my beauties good homes and my aquarium sits in dust. Long story longer: I understand.
Great imagery in your blog btw. Wherever do you find it?

allison, that is an endeavor in itself. i surround myself with cacti and succulents since they're so curmudgeony and hard to kill .... no fish for you. :)
and awww, matt, i think i am headed down your path. Though my second fish (Rosemary's friend) struggled after the bowl cleaning and I thought she was gonna die too, but she rallied and seems to be okay. So I am going to try this once more, fingers crossed!
and my images come from the sundry assortment of design & art blogs that I read on a regular basis. I'll also find stuff on etsy or through other image libraries on image spark (where I house all of my finds). It's fun to pair my postings with the right art/image. Frankly, it's one of my favorite parts of the blogging process, i'm ridiculous about aesthetics and i like to be cheeky too sometimes. your compliment is greatly appreciated!
